Hey does anyone know if it is normal for the 3-point to stop lifting when you use the rear remote? I hook up my semi-mount plow and saw that I had to let the 3-point come all the way up before I could use the rear remote.. any info wold help..

Perfectly normal operation of an open center hydraulic system. The valves are in series.

My 1964 Ford 4000 is the same way. I do not know about the next generation (1965 - 74) though I would believe they are the same as the remote valves are the same (I think).

not sure! Do remember that on the old 850 if the remote was engaged it robbed oil from 3 point and 3 point would not lift further until remote was disengaged. If you have a prior 4000, I assume it would be the same. If you have a later, I don't know.
