I got a new digital camera (my old one was so old it only worked with W98) and I brought it to work with me this week. I'm in Leon/Guanajuato, MX and this is the view out my window that I woke up to this morning. Just below the sign and to the right of the pole on the highest peak you can see a statue on top of the mountain. The ancient city of Guanajuato is up there but I don't know who the guy is on the statue. Those are antennas on the lower peaks.

Howdy friend.

I see you are staying at a HIE.. You can tell your passangers that.

" Well.. i did stay at a holiday in express last night! '

The reason we fly here is because GM has a huge factory about 2 miles from this HIE hotel. I think they build engines there. All around the hotel is filth and devastation. The hotel is an oasis in the center of dire poverty. The haze in the photo is from smoke. Before we even landed here last night you could smell the smoke coming through the air conditioning/ pressurization system. I don't know what they're burning.
Soundguy- the hotel internet won't let me send e-mails so I will tell you here that I dropped the air tube off at the USPS on my way to work yesterday. I sent it Priority so you should get it tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.

Thanks man.. You watch out over there. Glad you at least have a clean place to stay over there.

They might be burning tires or something to make smoke like that.
