Your Jubilee has a 172 cu in engine in reply to raphael, 04-26-2008 06:41:26
310609 is the casting number for the 172 cu in block built in 1958 and 1959 and used in the 801 and 901 tractors. The serial number on those tractors was stamped into the transmission and your Jubilee was probably an early one with the serial number on the block. That's why you don't have a serial number.

I don't know much about casting codes, but if you have a NAA with no number on the trans. housing or on the block, it's probably an early '53 that originally had the number on the block, but got a replacement block some time in the last 55 years.
