Any one happen to know what a 1974 gas Ford 3000 weighs? Only place I found it said a late 2000 weighs 100lbs more. That just can't be right.

The 2000 and 3000 are pretty much the same tractor on a casting basis. The weight on tractordata might reflect data taken from nebraska tests, and the weight given there will be 'AS TESTED', not it's nominal dry weight... so a 2000 could well have been tested as heavier than a given 3000 depending on options and ballast.
For what it's worth, the 3700 # figure sounds about correct without going to a book to check...

Not all data on Tractordata is correct. I have seen several errors.

Yea thats were I looked. But they also say the smaller 2000 is 3770 lbs. Just do not see how a smaller thractor is more. One can't be right. Thanks!

As rod points out.. a 2000 and 3000 are virtually the same tractor when you get down to nuts and bolts. One is detuned.. and lower hp.. not specifically 'smaller'.
