Last year when I restored my tractor I bought a new manifold. The repro I bought for my 55 960 fit the engine and exhaust fine. The carb fit too, but it caused the carb to be 3/4 inch higher than the original position. This caused the air cleaner tube to not fit onto the carb. So I had a phenolic carb spacer made, 3/4 inch thick. I also procured the correct longer length carb studs , had them plated the correct silver zinc, and up set the threads on the bottom to install at the correct height in the carb(TSX593). If you have this same problem, contact me as I had a bunch extra spacers CNC's at the same time and I prepared extra carb studs, and gaskets for this. I want to sell off the extras I made so hopefully I can break even on my out of pocket costs and help those in this same position. bradbb@surfbest.net
