Will a front loader off a Ford 800 fit a Ford 4000? I don't have both tractors together to compare right now. (Looking at buying the loader off the 800 if it will fit my 4000!).
Sorry I don't have any more info than this, but it may be an easy question for someone!

Thanks B.J.

Does anyone have a chart or book or know someplace to contact to find out if a 19-528 loader will fit a 4 cyl. 1964 Ford 4000? What series number fits this tractor? How do the series numbers relate to the model number? All these numbers really have me confused. What model number loader is my 4000 supposed to have. I can't find anything that can tell me online.
Thanks
Poor Ol' BJ (Feeling sorry for himself!)

I've seen the 19-528 on an 881.. so there you go.

if you want to see pics, search the galleries.

It is the older model 4000 with the rounded hood. It is 4 cyl. with power steering. The guy emailed me this morning with model # of loader: 19-528 ser. # cl 22844

Does this sound right? He's wanting $1500 for loader and pump. Is that a fair price?
I'm just checking all my options before I latch onto trailor and burn $3.70 gas to go look at it.
Thanks for all your help

As John indicates.. if the 4000 is a 4cyl model.. the loader from an 800 will likely bolt right up. If it is the newer larger 4000.. you may be able to make it fit with a torch and welder.. etc.

Is this a pre 1965 4000 that is basically a updated 801 or is it the square hood 1965 and up 4000.
