I have a ford mower with a 3 cyl perkings diesel
it runs hot. I took the thermosat out and its still gets hot Thanks

Look at the radiator and see if its full of bugs or dirt,blow it out with compressed air if it is.Also if it doesnt have a shroud it needs one.You have to be straight in to where you are blowing out the radiator because you can bend the fins and make it overheat more.If a bunch of fins are bent to where air cant get through them can cause it to get hot too.

taking the thermostat out of a tractor that runs hot is NOT the answer.

check the cooling system and water pump. could be internal or external crud in the radiator.

So.. what machine are we talking about here.. if you don't know what it is.. post a pic.
