I hope you guys can help me here. I had to replace a radiatore hose on my 4000 about 2 munths ago now, but I noticed it starts leaking after about 10 minuts. I flushed it and just put in strait water and thet helped a little but it still leaks. all the hoses that I can find are tight. Any help would be gratfull
Thanks.

Like ultradog MN said; plus you may want to run it until hot ,shut it down for about 2-3 minutes and then (with the tractor shut off) run your finger under the shaft housing on the water pump, if its wet there by the vent hole, its the pump.

They quite often will seep there a bit before they fail completely.

Good luck.

Most radiators like to run at their own level - like and inch or even more below the top of the tank.
If you fill it to the top it will puke it out every time till it finds it's preferred level.
Try letting it do it's own thing and see if it stays above the cooling fins. If it does and doesn't keep dropping leave it alone.
Learned that on a Rambler American.

Oh, sorry, Im seeing the water drip down of of the front axel, but I cant tell where it's coming from to start with.
My uncl (preveuis owner) said that there is a overflow tube on the radeatore but I cant find it.

Overflow tubes come out at the neck where the cap is.

leak, has to be from the core, the tanks, the hoses, the cap or overflow, from the drain petcock, or from the water pump.

pic one!

Uh... well.. you got to throw us a bone here... where are you seeing water?

Now.. with that answer... whereve you see water emerge from the radiator, hose, or pump.. then Bingo!.. that's where it is leaking!
