What type of hydraulic fluid goes in these old backhoes? Mine is a Sherman power digger if the oil is too thin will it cause the main arm to drop to the ground within a minute or two it is a slow leakdown and not abrupt or fast. or is the seal on the cylinder loose and need repacking? I think my pump is fine, but it's the main cylinder of the big arms of the backhoe that leak down and i have to keep using the lever to pull it back up into place. i bought what ithink is 90 weight hydraulic oil and dumped it in the holding tank. but I do notice some fluid leaking out of the end of the cylinder. I can't drive the tractor too far becasue the bucket starts to drag on the ground!! Help? Bill
