My tractor has a number on the trans housing. The first two numbers look like 11, but i guess there surposed to be 77. I visited the ford resource website and i can't understand it that well. My serial number is (i think), NAA 775795(0) or a diamond shape at the end. Could someone tell me if the serial number is in the right form or not. Could you also tell me what number it came of the production line and if it is worth anything. thanks alot, bernard

oh, this question!

Your serial number is in the correct format, but I really think that the first two numbers are "11" rather than "77." There were only 128,965 Golden Jubilee/NAA Ford tractors produced (both are model NAA).

Sequential production number 115795 came off the production line in August of 1954.

The diamond indicates that the 134 cid Red Tiger OHV engine was equipped with cast-iron cylinder sleeves.

I try not to get involved with questions of value, as value is a very subjective thing. There is, however, an online list of various Ford tractor purchase prices that you may be interested in. Click here to view this list.

I am sorry that you had difficulty understanding the content found on the Serial Number page of the Resource site. If you would please email me with details I will address this problem ASAP.

Thank you.

Dan, thanks for the info. On your resource page the serial numbers have five numbers, and my serial number has six. Why is this so? also i can't find any photos or appraisal of my 54 NAA. Are they more valueable than the jubilee's? I think your resouce pages are are very interesting and helpful, keep up the good work . thanks, bernard
