There were several engine manufacturers who offered replacement engines for Fordson tractors, such as Ailsa Craig, CLM, Hercules, Invincible, Perkins, Vendeuvre.
Can anyone tell me if Wisconsin or Waukesha ever offered a conversion kit? I have clues that suggest they did but no evidence.
Anyone with a converted tractor is welcome to contact me. I have a CLM and a Perkins Leopard, both in N"s, and an L4 in an E27N.

You might want to check out some old General Motors Detroit Diesels. I've seen conversions of U Allis Chalmers and they were descended from Fordsons, so to speak. Probably a 2 cylinder 50, or a 2-71? You'd need to think about the axle support and the radiator connections. These engines are a lot smaller than the Fordson displacement, but they fire on every stroke, so they are almost like 200 or 284 cu in. Probably capable of higher rpms and horsepower than the Fordson can handle.
