I ended up with my Dad's tractor, it's a 61 Fordson Super Major with a 4WD conversion and loader. I have bought service and parts manuals for it but they don't have any information on the 4WD or the loader. The ring gear housing for the front differential has "Manuel" on it. The drive line is on the left side. Can anyone help me to find parts/service information for the 4WD and loader?

Dan,
You have a Super Major with a Roadless conversion. Roadless Traction Limited were a company who specialised in tracked conversions during the early 1900's through to the 1980's. They put tracks on some of the early tractors for the British Army. In the late 1950's they started to bring in conversion units from Manuel in Italy who were making axles for tractors from the old parts left from the scrap army vehicles from the Allied forces after the 1939-45 war.Roadless eventually took over production of the conversion units from Manuel. They were good units and unfortunately the company went out of business when all the large manufacturers brought out their own 4wd units. Along with County Commercial Cars, they built 4wd tractors with both equal size and small front wheels.
