I removed the flow control valve from my 63 Super Major to check why it was leaking oil. Prior to removing the valve, the front end loader worked great. As soon as I removed the flow control valve and reinstalled it (correctly with all "O" rings properly in place, I lost all oil flow through the auxilary port. The 3pt hitch works properly when selected however no loader when switched over. I have removed the flow control valve 4 times looking for obstructions, stuck valves etc and this valve is clean. Oil level is up and pickup screen is clean. This doesn't make any sense to me. Any suggestions?

Any luck yet? Air purged out? Does fluid flow out when the valve is off the tractor?

I have yet to go into the hydraulics on my Super but know it is just a matter of time.My hyrdraulics are slow to come up to pressure after it sat awhile.Maybe there is some wear that was already there??? before you opened this up?

I have plenty of oil flow coming up from the pump which is obvious when I operate the 3 point hitch which uses the same oil flow/pressure. There must be a port in the flow control valve when the oil is directed to the auxilary port that is plugged that I cannot find.

Hooking up a pressure gauge might help with trouble shooting.I don't know what they cost, but it seems like it wasn't much.Renting one is also a possiblity or asking a hydraulic shop or automotive transmission shop if they would lend one to you.I would guess the pressure should be pretty high.

Maybe applying air to the port somehow? Some thought should go into doing this but it might lead towards the blockage.
