If you'll need a picture I'll fax or email a copy.
Take the injector pump timing inspection cover off the left side of flywheel housing. Turn the flywheel til the 20 degree mark lines up on the mark in the hole. The 20 degree mark will be on the flywheel.
Go back to the front of motor and mesh the marks together.
It's pretty simple, but if you have'nt done it before it can be intimidating, so like I said if you need the picture email me back..

I left out part of the info. The timing with a mechanical governor is 20 BTC degrees for a vacuum govnor is 26 BTC inside the flywheel inspection cover.
The 3 timing marks on crank, cam, and idler gears will perfectly line together when correct.
Remove the inspection plate cover, straight forwards of the inj pump. There is 1 mark on the pump drive and 1 mark on the inner right side of the inspection window housing. Leave the 3 bolts loose that you just fixed in the front gear and take a socket, turn the marks together inside this window by turning the inj pump til the marks line. Turn he inj pump separately, don't turn engine. When these marks are lined up, tighten the 3 inj pump pump drive bolts.
If I'm not being clear just holler and I'll send a copy of the manuals.
