The Fordson made just before the 8N, and alongside of it was the E27N. 1945-52. You should see this on some of the castings. But I'm assuming you are talking about a prewar model. If it is a row-crop it is worth quite a lot. If it has F&H spoked wheels (not welded cut-offs) They are worth quite a lot. By the way, if it has a magneto down on the front right side of the engine, it is the N-series Made in Ireland or England. If it has a coilbox, it is the F, made in US. If it is the plain plow tractor, with cut-off wheels, complete with loose engine, good fenders, good gas tank, probably about $500-1000 top. It's worth most if it's close by, if it has some rare accessories or implements, or if you have a family history with it, etc. If it has genuine spoked rubber tired wheels, that's almost as much more. If it's a row crop, perhaps twice that again. Be aware that so much was interchangeable, you might have a mixture of parts. Check your serial number for engine date. If it's an N, 1937 was last year with air intake on the steering column. 1937 was also last year for Blue paint, until 1945. Hope you can make something of this.
