Hello there,

I am looking to restore an older tractor. I have done a '54 300 Farmall and am finishing up on my '46 2N. I'd like to do a pre-
war tractor. So far I have found a good deal of older International/Farmalls but zippo for Fordsons.

Any suggestions as to where to look, I am in MN. Maybe all the Fordsons are in Michigan and Indiana??

Thanks.

If you want one primarily for parts let me know. My grandparents farm has a F on it that is complete as far as I can tell.

Fordsons were made from 1917 to 1930
9N was built from 1939 to 1943
2N was built from 1942 to 1947

You're wrong. Fordsons were built until 1964. The one built just before the 9N was the Model N Fordson. It was built until 1945. Then it got a major redesign of the rear end and was called the E27N. It was made until 1952. Then came the New Major, which was the same tractor except for a new engine design. Then the Power Major and the Super Major. They just had some improvements on the earlier models.

Didn't anybody tell you that back in WW II, we dropped a goodly number of old Fordsons on the Germans and Japanese? I can remember one dropping on a Jap ship! Sent it to the bottom right quick! by: RJ

One good injector for sure. A rebuilt head or entire motor as I'm not sure if the one I have is repairable. Also need a head light and two lenses [head light covers].Any help you can offer would be much appreciated, as I still like the old girl and would like to get her back to work.
