Can anyone tell me where the horn should be fitted on a Super Dexta?

Thanks,
Dave W

Yes, that's a puzzle, isn't it? I eventually found out. Beneath the gas tank are two metal cover plates, through which the arms that protrude from the steering assembly emerge. Remove the plate on the right side (looking from behind the wheel). You'll see the steering assembly is bolted down with large bolts on each corner. The horn should be between the front-side bolt and the steering wheel assembly, in other words: that bolt secures both the horn and the steering wheel assembly. The metal cover plate should fit nicely, as it has a hollow half-spherical space in it that accomodates the protruding part of the horn.

Good luck!

How about the Dexta? I havent located one on my tractor, but it has a button for it on the control panel. ( The horn is either hidden very well and doesnt work or is missing. I believe it to be the latter!)
Thanks, John

As the Dexta and the Super Dexta differ from one another only in the strength of the engine and the shape of the sheet metal parts, the horn should be in the same place as I've described for the Super.
