Dale:

The major selling point and improvement of the Super Dexta was power, the Dexta had a cubic inch displacement of 144 @ compression ratio of 16.5:1.

The Super Dexta displaced 152 cubic inches at a compression ratio of 17.4:1.

Also, fuel tank capacity of the Super Dexta was increased from 7.0 gal. in the Dexta to 8.4 gal. in the Super Dexta.

Cosmetic changes in the sheet metal styling was hallmarked by the "Super Dexta" displayed in
chrome horizontally across the radiator shell instead of vertically down the center line of the
grille. Early Super Dexta's simply had a chrome "Fordson Super Dexta" emblem on each side of the hood.

Other features including the Differential Lock,
Positrol and Qualitrol on the 3 point hitch were
added or improved in the Super Dexta.

The Perkins Diesel engine develops surprising torque and horsepower, making the Super Dexta a
3 plow rated tractor. B.H.P. (Belt Horsepower) for
the Dexta was 30 while the Super Dexta was rated at 39.5 B.H.P. That is a 20% increase in power.

Hope this helps you Dale!
