I have been thinking about opening a parts store for Fordsons. It would be for Dexta and Majors. What do you think?

Mark, that would be a great thing to do, you can count on me for a regular customer, especially for sheet metal.
I own a CNC machine shop here in So Cal, if you need any special parts made let me know.

I think it is a great idea. I recently purchased some parts from a source in Germany, good service and the price was excellent but the delivery was very long. It took about five months for me to get the package from Germany. If you could hook up with them as a US distributor you would have a source for many parts. There is also a source in Turkey but I have not ordered from them. I tried to but never got a response.

I found three good out of four off of the 1959. But the Fordson site says you need Mark 1 injectors. I have four of those and will try and test them on the 1959 this weekend.

How about fenders and front end sheet metal? We sure could use a place to buy those? And power steering conversions too? That might take some Frankenstien work there.

Mark, I'm hoping we need only two of the injectors. I haven't gotten to Bend yet to pick up the infra-red temp gauge, but will do so this next week. I'll let you know what I find. If I start the tractor at a mid-range RPM and leave it there, it runs great. It'd be nice to idle down, however, especially if I go to sell it. I'm looking at a local Mitsu D2000 4wd with brush hog and tiller. Guy wants 3k. By the way, I'm out of town next weekend.

I like it, especially since you're so close to me here in the NW. Got any good injectors? My SM smokes a lot at lower RPMs. :-)
