Is there a horizontal exhaust available for a Major, so I don't get a headache from the straight-through vertical exhaust fumes? Do you know a good parts dealer in the US who might have this? Thank you.

The horizontal exhaust was a factory option for the Major and was usually specified only if head-room was too low for a vertical exhaust. The fumes from the horizontal exhaust are much worse than the fumes from a vertical exhaust and the horizontal should be avoided if possible. I have a very late Super Major with a horizontal exhaust for sale and there is a photo on our website which shows the exhaust.

I might add that you would run a pipe under the left rear axel so that there is no fumes near you. Yes, Wilson, I plan on coming over in the next 10 days.

Think you might get more fumes from the downswept version. Just my experience.

I will put this on my inventory to do list. I went to the local muffler shop and had them make the header pipe bends I needed.
