Hello, first I must say, I'm ovrewhelmed at the knowladge you all have. I need help in figureing out thy year of my Super major. On the left side of the engine are protruding #s Eiaddn 6015 C T2 On the injector, it says Simms SPE4A75S 647 On the right side are #s EADIDKN M30F 7007 F ENF THANKS in advance, Bob

Bob,
Most of the numbers you quote are casting numbers and are no use in the dating of your tractor. You need the number from under No.1 injector which is stamped into a flat area on the block. However you did get one casting code amongst them and this gives a date of October 30th 1961.

Majorman, Thanks. The # you mentioned is 08A30428. I'm naturally courious to know as much as possible about my first tractor. Can you tell from this # the actual date, and where it was built? Thanks again, Bob

Bob,
She was built in December 1961 at Fords plant in Dagenham. These are excellent tractors, very hard to wear out although parts may be a bit of a problem outside Europe.They use Fords own British designed engine which developed from the 1952 Major. Rated at 51.5hp.
