my partner and myself have just bought a fordson and we are unsure how it should look as at the moment it is blue with orange wheels it has no badges nor is it registered and we would like some advicew on all subjects the make of the fordson is a 1959 power major.

Under No.1 injector pipe, stamped on the block, is a number. Post this and we can tell you the month and year of build. Also, on every casting there are numbers like A15B cast into the metal. These will tell you the day, month and year she was cast.

The tractor is one of the best ever built. It has a Ford designed diesel engine and was built at Dagenham, England. Up until the 1990's England exported more tractors than the rest of the world put together and Ford were the leading company.
