I have a 62 SuperMajor with powersteering. I can turn the steering wheel easily to the left but the wheel is hard to turn to the right. I have had the cyclinder rebuilt on the powersteering assembly. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I forgot to mention that will the cyclinder was off I drove the tractor and had no problem with the steering being stiff turning to the right like I do with the power steering being used.

If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost to get the power steering ram rebuilt? I have been thinking about it for years, but I have not yet gotten up the nerve to part with it and my money. My major steers just fine, but the fluid leaks out of the cylinder. Just have to fill it back up before I use it.

I had my step-brother rebuild the cyclinder. I think he only charged me for the labor. However, the cyclinder is still leaking which why I sent it to him.

I'd say the bearing at the bottom of the steering box is bad . Merry Christmas . Ken
