Lisa -- It's very difficult to put a value on a tractor like that. The Fordson Model F tractors (that's what you have) were first manufactured for the U.S. market in 1918, and are slightly different from the later models, with the front & rear wheels, radiator & oil filler caps, radiator sides and drawbar being unique (to name just a few details). If the only thing wrong with the tractor is that the front wheels are bent, those can be replaced. Contact The Fordson House in Escanaba, Michigan - they have a web site, and I've posted the link below. Give 'em a shout to see if they have any 1918/19 wheels in stock and what the cost is. Their stuff tends to be pricey, but the at-fault driver's insurance should cover it. If other parts are damaged, i.e., radiator sides/radiator/front axle, those parts are also available (but not cheap). Duane Helman of Rosewood Machine and Tool in Ohio has custom-cast replica radiator sides for $125 (not sure if that is for each side or both, but I suspect it's for each). The tractor can probably be fixed, you just need to work at it a bit. And this may be a good time to do a restoration on that heirloom tractor, since your husband prizes it so. Let us know if you have any other questions; help is available! Good luck! -- Maine Fordson
