Hello, I am trying my luck again at asking for a needed part on this forum. It has been succesfful before with a camshaft. If anyone has a Super Major water pump with NO power steering, in decent condition, I would be interested in purchasing it from you. If you have one to sell please reply to this message or email me. Thanks
Dave

Dave,

PS was an add-on option on the Majors. There was no difference in the water pump equipped with PS or not. You should be able to purchase a new aftermarket water pump for < $75 at your favorite tractor parts dealer.

Surprisingly there is a difference between the water pump on a Power Steering tractor to the Standard one. It is in the assembly of the pump and the fitting of the pulley boss.

Thats strange, when I tried to order one for an ag dealer here in kansas, they demanded to know if it was power steering or not. Also, on this website here "YTMAG" you can order a water pump for $50, it has either a power steering model, or a non power steering model. Check it out. Anyways, my wife said " I aint spending no $50 on a dang water pump, better get a used one, so thats what Im looking for.

You can order a brand new water pump from bare-co. I ordered a new one when I had my FPM rebuilt. I beleive it was around 80$ but that was a few years ago.

Moore Tractor is California is a Bare Co dealer, they are very easy to deal with and treated me really well. There number is 1-800-754-9545

Dave,

I agree with Scott that Moore Tractor is excellent to deal with. They will also have rebuild kits which will be cheaper if you want to fix the one you have.
