I have a Super Major that has had a 2701 ford fitted to it. Because it has the light sump, it has the axle fork facing forward and mounted on a bracket which is bolted to the four front mounting holes.

The only one i ever tried was a 6 cylinder ford 6D
from an old thames trader truck, It mounts right in just lengthen side rails and alter front axle mount probably should have made hood longer but i was having too much fun using it.

Where are you rustymich? I am in Washington state and have an extra Super Major motor core and am either going to sell it or buy a 1963-64 Super Major project tractor to put it in. What year is your tractor?
