I have run into a problem replacing the inner bull pinion oil seals on a 1953 Fordson Major Diesel. The ones a have from New Holland are the only ones listed. The outside diameter is too small and the inside is too large. The part number on them is E1ADDN2773. The housing bore is 3.540", 89.90mm and the shaft
is 2.310", 58.68mm. The local seal supplier can not find anything in this size. Any help would be
much appreciated. I am located in Saskachewan, Canada.

Kiwi Kev.
Thank You for the reply. I was able to locate a
58 by 90 by 10 metric seal that looks like it will work. I think the New Holland seals are probably for a super major with disc brakes, as they are a seal with felt design. (only one seal)
as the major with drums has an inner and outer seal. Thanks for the interest.

Brent
I have just received my new oil seals for the same thing. I had to get mine from a seal distributer(not an original Fordson part)
OD and ID were the same, but width was 5/16 instead of 1/2, but will still do the job.
I live on Norfolk Island, in the South Pacific ocean.
Hope this helps.
Kiwi Kev
