'Greasing rear wheel bearings' on a Super Major

When I grease, excessive grease usually comes out somewhere, and I use it as an indication for a successful grease job.
This is not happening on the rear wheels, and I am afraid of not being able to grease at all, or the excessive grease may go to the internal of the 'rear end'.
What is your experience when greasing the back wheels?

Any comments welcome

Do not overgrease them. A couple of pumps every three months is all they really need. The oil from the axle gets up there too and the grease is just to make sure they have some lubrication.

Is it ‘wide’ open from the 'rear wheel bearing' and into the axel?
I pumped a lot of grease in there. Should I worry?

Thanks for your help so far.

Yes, but no worries, its a massive chamber. It won't hurt to have a bit of grease in there. It'll just be messy when you have to replace the seal if it ever leaks.

Usually just give her 4 - 5 squirts every or every other use. I agree with you it is hard to tell how much grease to put in. My tractor has the wheel weights on the inside so it is escpecially hard to tell for me.
