Trying to find information on why our Dexta will get "hung up" between gears. You can come out of a forward gear--try to go to reverse & it hangs up in the forward gear but the gear shift will go in to reverse. Any ideas or information would be helpful. It is a 1960 model. New cluth pads have been installed but this problem has been a problem for years, before the new clutch & persists even after.

Its not a clutch problem, its a normal Dexta problem that can be easily fixed.

If you search the archive here you will find how to build up the bottom of the gear selector to prevent this happening for a few more years.
