Transmission vent

Does anyone know where the vent is on the main transmission of a 53 major diesel. I just had the tractor split and replaced the rear transmission seal and completely resealed the rear differential assembly. Now that the transmission oil doesn't leak into the diff and you check the trans oil warm (disced for 1/2 hour) the oil will spill out with the fill plug removed. It also leaks out the pulley seal and input seal (I don't want any oil on the clutch)
going to split and reseal the front half next year. Thanks for any help.

If you go to Link and look on the Bulletin Boards for Major, a post from Dom about his tractor shows a picture of his steering box. In the background is a lovely shot of the bolt you are looking for.

Its a long-headed bolt just above the pulley that hold the battery support on.
