Dexta head gasket 144 cu inch problem

A little advice please good folk.

I am looking for a dexta 144 cubic inch engine head gasket. I can get all the 152 cubic inch headgaskets I want but they are not the same. The 144 has an internal diameter of 3 9/32" against the 152 diameter of 3 21/32".
What would I lose in compression/starting/power etc in fitting a larger 152 gasket?
I guess that there would be in effect an annular groove formed between the head and block with the gap created. Would this cause problems?

Much would depend on how badly I needed the tractor. Should my need be great, I would use the Super part and keep looking for the proper gasket. Should my need be small I'd just keep looking.
Have you tried Oscar's site? Majorman checks in over here, but there is a bunch of Dexta expertise there. Also check with Bareco, they may have what you need.
