I have been working on this dexta for ever seems like but I am getting closer. I have cured the smoking problem at low rpm but when I try to open up the throttle to almost full trottle it seems to stall and start white smoking baddly. If i loosen the fuel line to the number one injector it has no affect on how the engine is running but it does stop smoking. If i tighten the line back starts smoking again. Looseing the other two injector lines will cause the engine to idle down a sign that they are working right. So I replaced the number 1 injector with a new/rebuilt one but that did not help. This tractor has the governer system with the air line running from the back of the injector pump to the intake manifold. I have found that if I take this line loose at one end that the tractor will run great ang not smoke at high rpm, only trouble you can't regulate the engines speed the only way it will run is wide open. Can any one help me? Thanks

The pneumatic governor has a calibrated air filter. While filled with oil, which is pulled up into metal shavings, it is still calibrated. If the oil is dirty or too thick, the tractor will not properly develope high RPMs.
The throttle is just a butterfly valve in the intake pipe, controling vacuum.
Check restrictive causes from filter to intake.
From what you said you have checked, you know what you're doing, so good luck getting it done.

This tractor has obblong holes in the injector pump gear to adjust timing. I turned the timing up as far as the holes would allow and it runs with a lot more power and throttle responce. It still white smokes some on top end but up until then the smoke is now black. Can I (or would it help) to remove the gear and advance it one complete tooth?
