Can anyone help? I have an old Dutch Barge and it is fitted with what I think is an old Ford 4D industrial engine. The Manual has the front cover missing and it is in Dutch.
The diesel engine has a large flywheel similar to that expected on a tractor. It has been marinised by Ford Lehman. It is fitted with a decompression lever on the front which enters the rocker box. On the front right top of the cylinder head the letters FL are cast in large letters. It also has 6050J 3167.
The engine block has the markings E1A DDN 6015 E T4 near the oil filter.
It has a Simms P4685 injestor assembly with R64 stamped into the body. The fuel filter assembly is also Simms and has the numbers FH73 in the casting.
All help greatfully received.

Thank you very much. Can anyone now tell me anything about it. I don"t even know it"s CC. If anyone wants the original Dutch manual they are welcome. It is missing the front cover but is otherwise intact. I will try to find a copy of the English version.

check this out - looks like a 4th revision Diesel head that you took the number off of.
