deene, I have been restoring my 1959 Dexta over the past 4 years, I have found the parts are relatively easy to find here in the US. I only got my emblems from Europe. If your not going to restore her then you won't need any of those. These Dexta tractors are hard workers, low maintenance, and get good fuel mileage. They are a very dependable tractor. There easy to work on, too. If you are wondering if the one your looking at has live power, you can look under the footplate under the clutch pedal, if the linkage has two holes in the clevis that goes to the clutch then she's got live power.
$1500.00 is a good price for a runner, I would love to find one at that price around here. Hope this helps you with your new found tractor.

If it is a good runner thats an average asking price. I have never paid more than $800 for one though. Most Engine parts are readily available for them and other standard parts bur if you need special things like for the gearbox it becomes a real hunt across the globe. Any kind of sheet metal is non existent. If you are a user these are a very good tractor and dont need much heavy maintenance. This tractor is one of the best I have ever used for fuel economy. The clutch if a duplex live power is EXPENSIVE to rebuild near $700 so make sure it is good. Now I know single clutch models are out there, but I have never seen one in the USA.
