Well everyone. It"s getting exciting. This weekend I"m returning my rebuilt diesel back together. I can only work on Saturday"s so it has taken a while but God and I have done a great job. Can"t really test it yet but seeing it go back together really is exciting. I have taken some pictures and will post them sometime next week. Tonight I want to mount the Double Clutch and tomorrow mount it back to the transmission. Walt

Hi Walt
It seems i am at the same stage as you but have come accross a hitch trying to join my Dexta. I have bought a replacement clutch unit and assumed that it would be set up to re install. My problem is that the tractor will go together right till the halves are about 30mm away from each other then they stop. If you have got past this bit would you give me a tip on how?

Putting it back to gether does take a little time. I have an engine 1 1/2 ton jack holding the engine up and a engine leveler to tip the engine to the correct angle. I was also alone doing this procedure. First I lined it up and moved the hoist so there is just a little force to move the two halves closer together. Then I slowly rocked it back and forth and saw that all was lining up. Then I put two screws in the crank pully and slowly turned the crank just to make sure nothing was binding. When I reached the point where the pins joined I put in one bolt on each side and began to tighten them. It went together as smoth as silk. I know that I will probably will have to do it again shortly because my throw out bearing was damaged that cam with my clutch so for now I have used the old one. That will be this weekend. Hope this helps. Walt Allen
