When I was growing up, my family had two tractors. We had a Jubilee, and a 5000 Super Major Diesel. I can find all sorts of pictures of Jubilees. So far I haven't seen any pics that look like the Super Major. Do any of you fellows, or gals happen to know where I can find good pics of one? Thanks!!!

here is a shot of "my sons" super major in work clothes,, still earning its keep on the farm,,,

my boy was 10 when I got it and said he liked it, I had intensions of I think selling her,, he said he wanted to keep it, but it has no power steering so I told him I would make a deal with him,, if he could drive it around the pasture I would keep it,, he jumped on drove it for 20 minutes pulled up next to me and said do we get to keep it dad,, what could I say,,, one day I hope to restore it before he goes away to college,, which is in 2 yrs,, I better got going huh,,,

one heck of a power house,, will out pull my new new holland tn 55 any day of the week,, we can get the power to the ground on this one,

Pat, This looks more like ours did. We never had a problem with it and it always did it's job. It was a nice tractor. Thanks for sharing your picture. Andy

Scott,
Thank you so much. It looks just how I remember....minus all the black grime and crud. She was an awsome beast of a tractor. At least it seemed to me when I was young. I remember my father tying me to the seat so that I could steer the tractor while he and my uncles picked hay out of the fields. Don't know how old I was, but probably about seven or so. That would probably be child abuse now, but what a thrill it was then. Thanks again.
