Hi, My '56 major has a loader that works great. It is a later model "easy on", and works off the internal hydraulics. There is a line going from the jack-tapping port to a new set of controls (mounted on right fender). From there it goes to fittings mounted on the back of the tractor, and from there to the loader.I have to block the three point hitch controller in the up position, and have to engage the pto and the clutch for it to work. The return line simply goes into the fill plug behind the seat. This is okay, but would be better if it were live hydraulics. It has two big one way rams to lift the bucket, and two smaller one way cyliders to dump it. Also, I put 10 ply light truck tires (with tubes) on the front wheels so that I could pump them up to 65 psi. The old tires used to bulge quite a bit with a bucket full of gravel. I know that the dexta has live hydraulics. Is it possible for you to tap into them and mount a set of controls on the fender? If so, this would be easier than mounting another pump. The disadvantage is that you cannot use your three point hitch at the same time as you use the loader. If you do go with the external pump, please let me know what make model and set up you used, as I am looking at doing something similar. Thanks, Karl
