My Dexta spent last winter in the barn under roof but it didn"t like it. It ususally stays in the garage. Anyway, the lift lever to control the three point height became extremely difficult to move. The culprit was the pivot point inside the the case where it connects to the draft control linkage was full of rust. When I pulled apart I found quite a bit of rust on the large shaft and the piece that the connecting rod hooks to. It appears that moisture has been entering for some time and that very little oil reaches the top inside of the case. Is there any way to splash oil up to the top to prevent rust? I try to change the oil anually. Any other advice on what to do while I'm in there would be much appreciated. It will certainly be much easier to refill the oil with the top off! Thanks in advance.
