hi my sm,np hydraulics are driving me mad, i have put new o rings on draft control box and on top of the big piston, also new rings on flow an return pipes.
my problem is it will only lift arms at full revs and not very strong, also it continues to lift even with quadrant in down position.
i have also cleaned the small piston quadrant pushes against and is very smooth.

Have you ever drained out the rearend oil of your tractor. If not I sugest you do. Remove the drawbar assemblie of the tractor. There is a 6" or an 8" flange on the bottom of your tractor. There is a screen filter ontop of this flange, you have to remove, and clean. Also ther are 2 bolte that are magnetic outside this flange, remove and also clean. Pull the top cap up under the seat, and acess the filter. It is about 2 1/2" in diameter, and 4" to 6" long Repalce that. Flush out using 10W40 engine oil. About 1 gallon will do. Let drain over night. Install the filter, flange, and magnetic bolts. Drawbar assemblie, and then install the new filter. Fill resevoir to the marks on the dipstick behind the starter handle. Use Trans Hydraulic oil. Then install the the cap, and the seat. Your hydraulics should work then. Any more problems Email me and I will be happy to help.
I have a Super Major, and I had to do this. I had this same trouble with mine. It takes a bit of work to do. Never had a problem since.
Good Luck.
Bruce.
