Fuel Line diagram for a Fordson Dexta

I have recently purchased a Fordson Dexta 3 cyl Diesel. It runs, and I"ve been working on replacing leaking systems and generally giving the tractor an overhaul. I ordered a new fuel tap for the tractor, but this fuel tap has only one fuel line attached to it, and my tractor had a fuel tap with two lines attached. I think that my tractor"s fuel system has been altered, and I"d like to get it back to the original specs. My problem is, the manuals that I"ve found on-line don"t have a flow diagram for the fuel or the lines. Does someone have the diagrams or even closeup pictures of their fuel systems that I could use as a guide? Thanks for the assistance.

These old gals have 2 fuel lines coming from the fuel tap. One of them goes to an elbow on the intake manifold. This is for cold weather start assist. When the primer button on the fuel tap is pressed, a small amount of fuel is squirted into a vaporization bowl inside the manifold on top of the heater element.

The other line goes to the filter and fuel primer pump. BTW, I have a 1960 Dexta with the 3 cyl diesel.

Thank you for your response. That helps to clear up the confusion. I think that the part I received was for the petrol dexta not the diesel. Since I live in Florida, and to test some of the other repairs that I've made, I used the fuel tap with the single line, and plugged the line to the manifold (looking at my old tap, it was plugged anyway). The reasons I started replacing some of these parts is two fold. 1) I had several fuel leaks. 2) The tractor was revving and then losing power. I've replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the fuel tank, replaced the lift pump, replaced the fuel tap, cleaned the gauze filter, and replaced the diesel. It is running a lot smoother now, but there is still a slight rev (not as frequently), and a slight loss of power (not as frequently). It seems to happen more when the clutch is not engaged. Any ideas on what I should try next? Thanks again for your assistance.

I havent had a problem like that but do recall reading about a possible problem with the governer diaphram going bad or the governer breather hole being plugged. I think these are located on the injector pump. Did have a problem similar with a Cat and found out it was caused by a bad injector.

Thanks,

I tinkered with the air intake hole and the gause filter, and that did lessen the problem. I think that I will have to replace the diaghram.
