Les, you emailed me again, and as usual I get my reply to you back as being 'undeliverable'. Here's what is says: "When trying to deliver your message, the mail server at lakeheadu.ca encountered problems with the following address:
For ntacs@lakeheadu.ca, the destination server said: ntacs@lakeheadu.ca... User unknown".

So please understand I won't be replying to any emails.

The exhaust manifold listed on my site is for the diesel engine only. You mention your New Major runs on "gas". With that, do you mean "petrol", "LPG" or "diesel"? I'm Dutch, and still a little confused to all the fuel descriptions used by Americans. The exhaust will fit only diesel engines. It's used, but in good condition. It's not mine, so I can't give you a definite price, but you expect something between 50 and 100 Dutch guilders, perhaps less. At the time of writing $ 1,- equals 2,20 Dutch guilders. Shipping it will cost you some, I'm afraid, as it's a heavy part. Please confirm that it's diesel you want, then I'll find out the price for you.
Regards, Oscar

Les,
You have your model wrong. If it is a petrol only it is a E1ADN. E1ADKN is a petrol/kerosine engine. If it is a petrol/kerosine (paraffin) it will be a totally different manifold with a vapouriser section. These are pretty hard to get.

Looks like she was built in March 1953.

Thanks! Brian,
Just bought tractor and took across ice to be used on fish and hunt camp portage back in the woods. Can't get to it now until ice goes out. I then will be checking out motor Model numbers. Thanks for explaining the dif!

Best way to tell a E1ADN from a EIADKN at first glance is the fuel tank. The E1ADN (Gasolene)will have one filler cap and the E1ADKN (Gas/Kerosene) will have two.
