I am in search of an electrical drawing for my power major s/n 1503200 (diesel). I have one from a 1950's Fordson Major Instruction manual. Is it the same?

Paul,
Not quite but near enough. On your Power Major the loom was moved to the other side of the engine, the oil pressure guage was deleted and a warning light fitted, the amp meter was deleted and a warning light fitted and two illuminating lights were installed in the dash.
The oil pressure light is switched to earth. The power must flow from the ignition switch through the bulb then to the pressure switch and through this to earth
The generator warning lamp comes from "D" on the regulator (yellow-white wire) goes to the warning light, through the bulb and then to earth.
The illumination lamps for the dash are powered from the side light circuit, up to the dash, through the bulb and then to earth.
Remember earth is positive and normally a white/black wire on these tractors and live is negative.
Hope this helps.
regards
Brian

I think Brian might be able to help. I mean, "Major" is his middle name ;-).
