I have posted here because of the knowledgable group. I have a County 754, which is based on a Ford 5000. It starts slowly, but then runs well. Recently, under load, the engine appears to die, and if not declutched, will die. If left to run, it will pick up again, but the problem reappears. I suspected fuel problems (?water), drained the fuel fuilter, re bled, but the problem persists.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
peter W.

Peter,
Check the post further up the page. It will apply to yours too. You may have the tank filter bunged too.
regards
Brian

Have you tested the lift pump?
Another spot I've had trouble with is where the fuel line comes out of the tank - remove the fitting from the tank to check it is clear.
