Thanks Don and Brian for your help on the identification of My Fordson. I now have the papers of the tractor and I found that it was rescued from a scrapyard in 1972 an registered again. So this increases the possibility of reconstruction of a older tractor other than a FSM probably a FMD.

By the way what means ASP??

Other problem: The tractor is parked and in a week it lost 1.25 L and in the 2nd week 1.0 L of water without working. There is no evidence of radiator or water pump leak. There is no white smoke and the oil has no water in it and the oil level doesn't change.

The radiator cap seal is damaged but it does not explain the difference of level in a week time without working. When I bought the tractor it cames with low level of water and High level of engine Oil. ( -3.5 L of water and + 2L of Oil).

what can be the reason ? the engine starts in 2 seconds and pull strong without noticeable smoke.

There is also water in the Gearbox (creamy oil) and low level in result of a important leak in the brake/clutch axle in the left side of the transmission . Is there an O'ring ? What can be done.

Thanks for your help.

Luis,
I suspect that the sleeve o-rings are leaking. The best indication of this is that you stated that your oil level increased. To verify this, take out your drain plug and see if antifreeze comes out. Since antifreeze (or water) is heavier than oil, it will be at the bottom of the pan.

Luis,
ASP is a John-Paul name for his tractor. All Spare Parts.
Water leak could be out of the damaged seal on the radiator cap. Or it could just be an airlock in the system. The loss does not seem too great. It could also be a slight head gasket leak. I would be tempted to try a little radiator stop leak, fit a new cap and see what happens.

There are small seals that fit on the brake shaft. These can be fitted by removing the pedals etc. and replacing the seals.
regards
Brian

Luis

My Major had a core plug rust through at the back of the block. This results in a loss of water but not all. Yours could be on its way out!!
