Oil pressure

Is it a hard job to adjust engine oil pressure on a Super Major -61? anderstand that I have to remove the cover under the engine, but som parts of the front weel construction is assabled to it. I think I need some advice... Is there some spring adjusting the pressure or..Mikael

Mikeal,
There is no way to adjust the oil pressure that does not involve a complete engine overhaul. If your oil pressure is around the 20psi when hot at about 1800rpm it is OK. If it runs below this then it is possible that you need a new oil pump or, if the engine has worked a lot of hours then crankshaft and cam shaft bearings will need attention.
Change the oil and filter, use HD 30 oil and check the pressure again when hot. Remember the pressure will be lower at low engine revs.
