I would be grateful if the group could give me some tips to look for: I have a Super Major set up a front loader, and going from forwards to reverse and vice versa, a clunk emantes from the back axle when the brake is applied.
I have a spare back axle, but dont know whether it is better - what should I look for?
Thanks,
Peter Wilson

Have you confirmed the tightness of the bolts between the rim and wheel center on the rear? I learned the hard way that a clunk can come from this location a few years ago on a Ford 800. But not until after I had dismantled a goodly portion of the rear assy. A lesson I shall remember. I too have a Super Major with a front loader. I purchased it not running and expect to take delivery of the rebuilt injection pump today. Are you in the USA?, I am. Good luck.
