Could someone help me please. I have recently fixed my first problem on the tractor, so that the 3-point linkage arms do now travel up and down.
Now I still have a problem as there is no power lifting under load, they'll only lift if there is no load.
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Cheers Leon

You should not use gear oil in the rear of this tractor, only motor oil multigrade SAE 10-30, even in artic conditions (and hot summers) in Norway where I live.

Your piston seal may need to be replaced, if your lift arms can be pushed down after you have raised them. If your lift arms will hold the load after it is raised, then your pump or pump safety valve is worn. Depending on your climate, this tractor uses 80/90 GL-4 or GL-5 oil in the transmission rear end and hydraulics.

Leon, what was your first problem? Maybe you have forgotten to mount an O-ring or maybe damaged one when re-assembling (pipe from pump to hpl?).
Geo, if you use API GL5 (hypoid oils), the bronze parts in the transmission rear end may be affected by the additives in the oil. Also the nitril rubber seals (pto-shaft) might become harder in a shorter time so you might get leakage after a period of time. Gear oil API GL4 is ok.
