Dear Dexta Dudes,A few weeks back I wrote about the 61 Dexta I got from my dad. After further inspection and tinkering, I have a few more questions. I performed a compression check, but my tester only went to 300psi. After bursting some blood vessels trying to hold the tester down over the intake hole and pegging the meter, I decided I didn't have a problem with compression. I am however missing the most important parts to the fuel hand primer and since replacements are hard to come by, was considering adding an electric fuel pump to use as a primer. I think I read on here that Burrhead had used an electric pump and I had a few questions reguarding that. First, the line runs out of the tank to the hand primer and then down to the simms pump before comming out to go to the air intake manifold, right? So when I am pressurizing manualy or electricaly the fuel pumps through all of these lines instead of teeing off and going directly to the air intake, right? Also burrhead how do you meassure the amount of fuel that pumps through when you turn on your electric pump, or are you just tapping the on button briefly. Also I think I read on here, a little too late, that you should put the injectors back into the holes they came out of. Well I didn't and I don't know which one came from where. What problems will this cause and what can I do about it. Thanks, Wes
