Brian: sorry I didn't get your email properly - at least my home or net email addresses work properly - I shan't try with my work account again: frustrating for both of us, I'm sure.

Anyway now the weather has warmed up to +3C the lift works ok. A local farmer friend of mine said that it's a common occurance here especially with tractors that aren't used frequently.

To my mind, the wonder is that something made in 1955 (mostly!) is still basically working, despite having been left out the whole time in conditions where summer day temperatures can exceed +30C, and winters are such that it can be -25C one day and +3 the next...

All the best anyway

J-P

My note was exactly in line with your farmer friend. Ther will be no problem if the oil level is up a bit either.

Brian
Thanks for holding the snow. Can you now do some thing about the rain?

Thanks Brian!

Sorry about your weather, but doesn't it generally come from you to us, rather than the other way round??

In any case, now we have slippery sludge and driving sleet - just like the old country!

All the best (to you and everyone else) and have a great weekend

J-P

Both my E-Mail servers say you have a "permanent fatal error". What have you done to the ASP this time?

regards
Brian
