Simms Injector Pump problem?

My Fordson has a later model Simms pump on it, it has oil in it with a drain and check level screw. My problem is my tractor quit, died down slowly and I have not been able to restart it. I found a loose connection from the block to the fuel tank. I tighned that back up. I have a electric fuel pump on it and I bled the injector pump by cracking open the two purging screws. It is getting plenty of fuel up to that point. I cracked open a high pressure line going into the #2 cyl. I find very little fuel at this point.

I don't see any leaks, or bubbling any place else. My oil level in the Inj. pump was low but not dry, no metal finds. I refiled it with new oil. Still not starting. (It will start with spray into the intake but not from fuel the injector system). How robust are these Simms injector pumps? What else should I try?

These do not have glo plugs but have a heater in the intake air flow. Check to see if the heater is working

Another clue I forgot to add. The cold start or over fuel button will not stay in anymore. It use to work fine.

Forgot to add that if the bar inside the pump that moves back and forth to adjust the fuel flow does not get pushed by the governor , the cold start button won't stay in . If the button won't stay in , the bar is not moving for some reason .
